Men: tend to look for quick solutions, because solving makes them feel helpful. Offering an answer is their way of showing support. The key is balance: listen carefully before suggesting any solution. What you can do Husband: practice active listening. Look into her eyes, don’t interrupt, and show you understand. Many times, your wife just needs to feel you are by her side. Wife: explain clearly what you expect. If you only want to be heard, say so. If you want a solution, ask for it. Will There Ever Be Justice in the World?

Injustice is a reality we see in many places. Cases of people imprisoned unjustly or condemned without trial show how flawed the human system is. Those who have suffered injustice may identify with the words of Job: “I cry out for help, but there is no justice.”Job 19:7.

Even so, the Bible assures us that the time will come when everyone will have true justice. Moreover, it already gives us strength to face injustice today.

Causes of Injustice

  • Selfishness: selfish desires lead many to treat others unfairly. (James 1:14, 15) In contrast, God instructs: “No one should seek his own benefit, but that of others.”1 Corinthians 10:24.

  • Lack of knowledge: some act unjustly without realizing it. (Romans 10:3) Out of ignorance, many participated in the greatest injustice in history: the execution of Jesus Christ. — Acts 3:15, 17.

  • Flawed human systems: governments, commerce, and religions should promote justice, but instead produce corruption, inequality, and intolerance. The Bible shows that human efforts without God always fail. — Ecclesiastes 8:9; Jeremiah 10:23.

Does God Care About Injustice?

Yes. He hates unjust attitudes: “I, Jehovah, love justice; I hate robbery and injustice.”Isaiah 61:8. In the past, God required judges to reject bribes and defend the humble. — Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Isaiah 10:1-3.

Will God End Injustice?

Yes. Through Jesus Christ, God will eliminate sin, the cause of injustice, and make humans perfect. — John 1:29; Romans 6:23. He has established a Kingdom that will bring a just world: “A king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice.”Isaiah 32:1; 2 Peter 3:13.

What Will Life Be Like in This New World?

Justice will bring peace and security for all. — Isaiah 32:16-18. God values all people equally, so there will be no more pain, crying, or memories of injustice. — Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:3, 4.

Can We Trust This Promise?

Yes. Bible prophecies have already been fulfilled and show that the Bible is reliable. — Ecclesiastes 3:16; Job 34:12; Deuteronomy 32:4, 5.

Should We Fight Against Injustice Now?

The Bible shows examples of people who defended themselves against injustice, such as Paul, who appealed to Caesar. — Acts 25:8-12. But it also teaches that only God’s Kingdom will bring complete justice. — Ecclesiastes 1:15.

Bible Texts About Justice
